Tim Watson is a veterinary surgeon who lives with his wife daughter and dog on the Isle of Wight. Following graduation he spent a few years as a rural farm Vet in North Devon and Cornwall. Tim then spent some years in the City of London as an information technology consultant to the banking and insurance industry. He returned to veterinary medicine as a small animal veterinarian in first opinion and general practice on the Island where he has remained.

Tim, like most men has particular interests in "how things work", whether this be biologically, pathologically, mechanically or psychologically. When he isn't surgically or pharmacologically rearranging and restructuring the biological derangement of his patients, Tim enjoys the outdoors and is usually found; walking, camping, bicycling, reading, gardening or cooking. Tim also has additional veterinary interests in various complimentary medicines including herbal medicine (particularly ancient herbal medicine) and homoeopathy and their integration into modern medicine.

Tim feels strongly that he should always seek the best available care for his patients at all times, choosing whether he can provide this, or whether this should be provided by another, he feels is the greatest challenge to modern veterinary medicine. As a result he has forged strong links with various referral practices near to the Isle of Wight who are able to provide some of the best levels of care and diagnostic facilities to be found in the UK.
